Practical support for everyday life.

Anchor Support Group provides practical, hands-on disability support for children, young people and adults. We focus on helping people manage daily tasks, stay connected with their community, and build confidence and independence through consistent, reliable support.

Support is arranged around your needs, goals, routines and preferences. We work with self-managed and plan-managed participants across our regional service areas.

Personal care & in-home support

Support with daily living tasks such as showering, dressing, meal preparation, medication prompts and household routines. We focus on maintaining dignity and independence while helping you feel comfortable and supported in your own home.

Community access & social outings

Assistance to stay involved in the community, including attending appointments, shopping, social activities, events, hobbies or simply getting out for a coffee or walk. We help you take part in activities you enjoy and stay connected with other people.

Life skills & capacity building

Practical support to build everyday skills such as cooking, cleaning, time management, budgeting, communication and self-care. We work alongside you to strengthen independence and confidence at your pace.

Safe, reliable transport to appointments, school, work, programs, therapy and community activities, with support workers who can stay with you throughout the activity if needed.

Overnight & extended support

Sleepover, active overnight or extended-hour supports for people who need assistance outside typical daytime hours. This may include reassurance, personal care, medication prompts or safety monitoring.

Support through life changes

Practical help when life changes, including settling into new routines, building on support from the people around you and developing independence.

Household tasks

Support with everyday household activities such as cleaning, laundry, meal preparation and maintaining a safe, comfortable home.

Daily tasks in shared living

Assistance with personal routines and everyday tasks for participants who live with other people. This service does not include managing or delivering a SIL package.

When is support available?

Support can be arranged across weekdays, evenings, weekends and public holidays, depending on individual needs and staff availability.

Do you provide overnight support?

Yes. Sleepover and active overnight assistance may be available by arrangement and according to the participant’s funded supports and service agreement.

Is overnight support the same as SIL?

No. Anchor does not currently provide or manage Supported Independent Living packages. Our overnight assistance is offered as an individual support service.

Where is support available?

We support participants across the Macedon Ranges, Central Goldfields, Greater Bendigo and Sunbury, with surrounding communities considered by arrangement.
